Why would I buy a book from you when I can get it on one of the big online stores more cheaply and with free shipping? 

Fantastic question! There is no way we can compete with the big online stores, end of story. However, buying direct from us means you are supporting us and our stable of authors.

More than this you are also supporting our independent printers around the world, who are publicly committed to using paper from responsible sources. Paper from responsible sources is often described as being FSC-certified, meaning it comes from forests managed according to strict environmental and social standards. This certification, provided by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), ensures that the wood fibre used in the paper is sourced from well-managed forests that protect biodiversity, water quality, and the rights of local communities and indigenous peoples. This is very much appreciated! 

How does it help authors to buy direct? 

When you buy direct, our authors get paid promptly – within hours or days, rather than three or six months later. This helps keep us in business, so we can create more books! Thank you! We can also email you to tell you about other books you might enjoy.

While many authors love the big stores – and you can find our books there, too, it's crowded on those sales pages. Our direct stores allow us to feature books by our authors without having other products advertised against them. 

When will my printed book arrive? 

Shipping timeframes vary because we use independent couriers and national postal services where you live. Generally, though, here's a guideline:

For shipping in the UK: allow 3-4 days.

To US, CA, AU and other countries: it can take 10 business days (2 weeks) to reach you, especially for special editions of our titles. 

If you need the books sooner then please try your favourite supplier for standard editions. We'll communicate this again in our emails to buyers after you purchase.

If I buy an ebook, how do I read it? Or get it to my favorite device?

Once you purchase an ebook, you will get an email from help@bookfunnel.com with a link to download the ebook, or you can send the ebook directly to your favorite device.

If the email hasn’t arrived in 10 minutes after purchase, please look for it in your Spam folder.

You can also find your ebooks in your Bookfunnel library at https://My.BookFunnel.com. Log into BookFunnel with the email you used to purchase or download your books.

If I buy an audiobook, how do I listen to it? Or get it to my favorite device? 

Once you purchase an audiobook, you will get an email from help@bookfunnel.com with a link to download the audiobook.

They will also send you instructions for how to download and listen to your book in their app, or on another device.

If the email hasn’t arrived in 10 minutes after purchase, please look for it in your Spam folder.
