What's your second act?

What's your second act?

Steven Sonsino

If you’re looking for what we do here at Publishing Channel this is it. And yes, it looks like a bookstore.

That wasn’t the plan.

Originally, my wife Jacqueline Moore and I were a publishing service helping people publish their books. Especially experts, leaders and founders who wanted to clarify their message and extend their reach. And we still do that.

But creating books for people like you was never the end. It was a process of reflection. Of identity work and legacy work. We’ve come to call this your second act.

So although we didn’t set out to build a bookstore it turns out books are still the clearest, most powerful way to think aloud and in public. And to leave something behind that matters.

Not tweets. Not webinars. Not half-baked videos. Books.

Because books slow us down. They demand clarity. They prompt us to be really clear what we’re trying to say, to whom and who we want to become by saying it.

So that’s what this space is now. A door through which we and the men and women sharing the journey are walking into the future. Into our second acts.

And if that question – What’s your second act? – has started whispering to you lately, rest assured you’re not alone.

With the help and feedback of our co-authors Jacqueline and I have a lot of work to do between now and when we fling the doors wide open later in 2025. Lots of writing, connecting the dots between ideas, and publishing that content here and through email.

For now, browse around.
